Vina Hiridjee
Associate Director and Consultant

Expert in filmed evaluations, Food systems and agroecological transition of Southern agricultures

Founder of Komet, Vina Hiridjee has been working with international solidarity actors and development agencies in Europe, Africa and South Asia for 15 years. It was after making films for TV5 Monde, Arte and France 2 as a specialist in biodiversity protection, that Vina decided to launch the Komet adventure in 2014 and use video as a tool to serve the development action process. Vina has since then, produced and directed numerous films for international cooperation and humanitarian actors ( FDA, World Bank, UN, the Red Cross…) while accompanying and advising these structures in their communication or advocacy policies. Passionate about North/South dialogues on agroecological transition and sustainable food systems, she hopes that Komet's films will inspire change and open up new narratives rooted in solidarity and ecology.
